A. NYC-Handyman Plus is a professional handyman service specializing in small to medium jobs around New York City apartments, homes and offices. Essentially these are usually the types of jobs you either don't want to do or aren't sure how to do. Whatever it maybe leave it for me, the NYC-Handyman
Q. Who is sent to my house to do the work?
A. Johnny Hanley the NYC-handyman will arrive on time to undertake all necessary tasks. If assistance is needed my helper will possess all of the relevant skills and experience and will be employed (not sub-contracted) by NYC-Handyman. I take extra special care to screen all applicants prior to employment so you can rest assured that they are proven professionals.
Q. How do exchange job information?
A. You may contact one of my local NYC numbers or email me your enquiry and I'll promptly answer it within 24 hours. You may also fax me a request and I will contact you at your convenience.
Q. Do you work weekends?
A. Me and my handymen are available for weekends during the hours of 8am - 4:30pm. My office hours are 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday. The fee is double.
Q. What level of service can I expect?
A. NYC-Handyman.com aims to provide you with a professional level of service and workmanship. I back this up by providing my PERSONAL GUARANTEE on all workmanship so if you're not happy all labor is free!
Q. How do you charge?
A. NYC-Handyman, charges by the hour. This way my customers are charged only for the time that we actually work. A discounted half day rate is also available for small jobs. For those jobs which may take a bit longer or if you have various tasks that you need completed. Prices per job is also available.
Q. Can I get an onsite estimate for my job?
A. NYC-Handyman.com specializes in smaller jobs that usually do not lend themselves to physical onsite estimates. However when you give us a call, we can usually give you a very good idea of how many man hours jobs similar to yours generally take. After we speak or review your emailed job details, I will usually determine if an onsite estimate is necessary. (1hour minimum charge)
A. NYC-Handyman.com accepts cash and you can pay for your projects or special materials over the phone or via our websites.
If credit cards or checks are necessary it can be arranged for larger projects.
